Shift examples: 7am to 3pm, 2pm to 9:30pm, 7am to 9:30pm, 12:30 to 9:30pm, 9:30pm to 7:15am

We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our adult people and be responsible for providing compassionate care during your time with them.
In this role, you’ll…
·Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care
·To support and enable people we support to attend relevant medical appointments such as GP, Hospital, Dietician and Dental appointments.
·To support and enable people we support to maintain their health, wellbeing and general appearance such as support with purchasing toiletries, clothing and arranging hair dressing appointments.
·Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support
·Learn about individuals’ specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way
·Assist with medical & welfare needs and report as required
·Safeguard residents
·The opportunity to support residents to attend activities within the community such as bowling, cinema, restaurant visits, swimming, and many more!

A few characteristics you will need to be successful in this role:
Resilience – We support some of the most vulnerable adults in society who have varying degrees of emotional behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties so there will be times where your resilience is challenged.
Experience – personal or professional experience in supporting adult or child
Communication – Communicating with our young people is vital to understand their needs. Good teamwork and communication plays a key part in ensuring important information is relayed to other staff.
Organisation – You’ll need to be confident and organised in updating care plans and reporting information that will be relevant to the care of our young people.
Caring – Our young people require the best care we can offer. If you are a naturally caring and compassionate person, this is the role for you.
Attentive – No person is the same so being attentive to understand them and identify areas where we can support is important.
