Facilities Assistant – Part-time
 
Monday to Friday, 08.00-14.30 (30 hours per week – 38.8 weeks per year)

£15,926.72 per year
 
1to1 Group are currently recruiting for a part time Facilities Assistant to join the Facilities team and work in upkeeping the cleanliness and maintenance of areas and buildings allocated to you.
You will need to be flexible and will be expected to be organised and have attention to detail in everything that you do, and be capable of meeting the physical requirements of the post.  
 
Main responsibilities:
·To carry out general domestic duties, including deep cleaning and assisting with carpet cleaning.
·To move and rearrange furniture, if/as required.
·To be able to work outside, when required, to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the House e.g. weeding, sweeping paths/yards, bins, low-level gutter cleaning, garden furniture, outside windows, gritting and snow clearance (winter) etc.
·To complete regular house checks (compliance) -No experience of cleaning (and house checks) is required, as training will be provided.
·To keep up to date with cleaning methods and to update regular Health and Safety training, as required.
·To immediately report any defects, safety hazards and any accidents.
·To support the house during set-up and clean down days at the beginning and end of each term, and annual events.

·The ability to communicate appropriately with staff/parents/pupils/alumni/dignitaries and other visitors.

·Experience of working within a school environment is desirable.
