£46,485 to £55,295 per annum
 
1to1 Group are currently recruiting for a Finance System Manager to join our client’s finance and planning team. You will take responsibility for the development, maintenance and operation of Unit 4 ERP, lead the ongoing development of the finance system, complete full system testing and associated testing of upgrades, and manage and oversee the creation and delivery of appropriate training courses.
 
Responsibilities:
·Responsible for the strategic development and planning of the Finance System so that it meets the needs of the end users
·Manage the work of system support and administration
·Identify, define and analyse problems encountered by end users of the system, whether caused by user error or by weaknesses in the software. Apply knowledge and experience in deriving a solution
·Lead finance systems application management, maintenance and support services to ensure the continued effective and reliable operation of all systems modules and interfaces
·To design and maintain documentation for all aspects of the application system set-up and online user manuals and training modules and develop and maintain a suite of related pages
·To establish and Chair a Finance Systems User Group
·To provide project management and assistance to finance related systems developments
·Lead on all aspects of application security and administration
 
Skills:
·Broad accounting experience
·Experience with Unit 4 ERP / Agresso
·Knowledge of other MIS systems e.g. Kinetics, iTrent, SITS
·Familiarity with SQL queries
·Extensive experience in the user end of corporate finance systems and in providing end user technical support, including data transfer and integrations and change control
·Substantial experience of finance systems application administration and functionality
·Strong project management skills
·The ability to understand user and corporate needs and relate these too systems and business and accounting requirements.
·Knowledge of finance packages, information systems and procedures, ability to adapt and transfer skills to use new technology
·Knowledge of the setup of accounting software packages in order to initiate system improvements where necessary
