Our lovely client is looking for a Homeless Outreach Team Leader to support the Service Manager. You will play a key role in overseeing the local projects, ensuring the team is well supported and delivering person-centred support to clients. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of homelessness issues and experience working with challenging behaviours.
You will need a valid UK drivers’ licence and access to a car.
The role will be Monday to Friday and participation in the Outreach rota which can include early mornings, evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
– Undertake assertive outreach and hot spot visits across the local area
– Provide supportive line management and supervision to team members ensuring regular reviews are in place
– Carry out effective multi-agency working with external agencies to maximise opportunities for clients
– Provide a case load of clients with high quality person-centred services.
Qualifications/ Requirements:
A valid UK driving licence and access to your own car.
Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with challenging behaviours.
The ability to manage your own workload, as well as direct reports.
