The Role:
 
We are working in partnership with an established international manufacturing business to recruit an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and develop its end-to-end supply chain operations.
 
This is a key leadership position with responsibility for driving supply chain performance across procurement, demand planning, production scheduling, customer service, inventory management and logistics.
 
The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in improving operational efficiency, strengthening supplier relationships, optimising working capital and ensuring consistently high levels of customer service across a multi-site environment.
 
Key Responsibilities
 
·Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
·Lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, demand forecasting and production planning.
·Oversee procurement, strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations and supplier performance.
·Manage customer service, order fulfilment and delivery performance.
·Optimise inventory levels, reduce excess stock and improve working capital.
·Oversee logistics and warehousing, driving improvements in cost, efficiency and service.
·Identify supply chain risks and implement effective contingency plans.
·Lead and develop the supply chain team, driving continuous improvement across the function.
 
About You
 
·Significant supply chain leadership experience within an international manufacturing or industrial environment.
·Strong knowledge of procurement, demand planning and inventory management.
·Proven success in improving supplier performance, delivery reliability and operational efficiency.
·Experience managing multiple supply chain functions and working across different sites or countries.
·Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
·A proactive leader with excellent communication, negotiation and change-management capabilities.
