Up to £28,000 plus 5% performance bonus
 
1to1 Group are currently recruiting for a Planner Buyer to join our client in having a direct impact in helping students around the world discover the power and joy of learning.
 
Responsibilities:
·Schedule stock replenishments based on forecasts and vendor capacity to maintain industry-standard fill rates and turns.
·Monitor customer backorders and initiate manufacturing as needed.
·Coordinate with finance business managers if the profitability of a planned manufacturing job drops below tolerance.
·Plan and complete procurement of finished goods from global manufacturers and suppliers.
·Work with the supply chain to ensure timely deliveries from vendors or internal shops.
·Connect with suppliers to resolve issues with costing, product specs, and stale life.
Skills:
·Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field.
·A minimum of 3 years of experience as a planner-buyer desired.
·Proven experience with Excel, Oracle JD Edwards, SAP, or other ERP systems.
·Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and successfully implement plans.
·Knowledge of book manufacturing processes and paper specifications is a plus.
