Health and Safety Officer

1to1 Group are recruiting for a Health and Safety Officer for one of our clients outside of Winchester. In this role you will manage all professional and technical aspects of health & safety and welfare, ensuring policies and procedures are fully compliant with relevant legislation, Codes of Practice, HSE and other guidance.
 
Role Details:
·£20- £25 per hour.
·Outskirts of Winchester.
·Temporary (with a possibility of going permanent).
·Monday-Friday, full time.
 
Role Responsibilities:
·Liaising with the Premises and Facilities Manager, Premises Team, HR and other management team members.
·Working closely with the Premises & Facilities Manager to help deliver and maintain an environmental friendly working place.
·Maintain lists of qualified first aid and other health and safety equipment.
·Provide training where necessary in first aid and health and safety including fire and risk assessments.
·Assist in writing or updating health and safety related polices and carry out departmental audits as required.
 
Role Requirements:
·Possession of NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
·IT Qualification at Level 2 or equivalent.
·EMS or ISO 14001 Knowledge.
·Environmental knowledge ISO 50001.
·GCSE English and Maths.
·Ability to undertake RAMS & Permits.
